Service Opportunities at Graceway
When you serve at Graceway, you’re doing much more than filling a role; you’re becoming more a part of
our community and extending ministry and hospitality to others.
These are usually the first people an attendee meets at Graceway. They offer a warm welcome, distribute bulletins, and help direct our guests to where they need to go. This is ideal for outgoing “people-persons” who can make people feel welcome and at home as they arrive to our service.
Our ushers help people find available seating, which is very important especially after the service starts, especially for guests who may feel uncomfortable walking down the aisles to find open seats. They also help collect the offering. This is ideal for people who are cool under pressure and can balance graciousness with assertiveness as they find seating for the arriving congregation.
These people greet guests to our worship service, answer questions, distribute literature, pass out free books to guests, help make connections to others at Graceway, who direct ministries that the guests are interested in, and otherwise help our guests feel welcome and informed during their time with us. Coffee & Cookie Bar
This ministry provides an important hospitality service to everyone on Sunday mornings by keeping the coffee pots filled, making cookies on a rotational schedule, and providing a way for all of Graceway to fellowship during the transition between Sunday School and Worship services on Sundays. (Tracy Blanton)
Our security team helps provide safety and surveillance during each service. Training is provided for all who would like to join the team. (Al Johnstone)
As you pull into Graceway you would be the first person that will wave and direct them into the building. This is a vital post for those who do not mind the weather no matter the season.

Student MinistrySunday/Wednesday Youth Group:
Our meetings on Sunday at 10am and Wednesday nights from 7-8pm are the heartbeat of our student ministry. Our adult-volunteer leaders are essential to making these times a success for our students! We are always looking for new leaders to serve our students through building relationships with them, leading discussion groups, and modeling the love of Christ in everything we do - from the teaching time, to playing games, to participating in service. If you are interested in serving with our middle-school and high-school student ministries, we would love to talk to you and give you more information about our amazing youth group.
Please contact Mr. Trenton Raymond if you are interested

Every Sunday morning there are so many moving parts that go into nurturing the spiritual growth of the children in our church family. We need people who are organized, friendly, and would love to invest in the growth of the kiddos of our church. Every Sunday the Supervisor helps set the tone for the kiddos and volunteers by being available to assist in whatever need comes up. The supervisor welcomes families and children as they go to their classrooms as well as free the teachers, assistants, and worship leaders up to engage the children in their setting by being available. This is an incredible opportunity to invest in the lives of the children of our church family through a warm, friendly, and organized presence. Training and support are provided. If this interests you or you have more questions, please contact Mr. Trenton Raymond
Every Sunday morning at 10am in Room 106, kid’s first grade to 5th grade meet to learn new songs and practice for upcoming special music that they will perform during a church service.
Every Sunday morning a team of faithful individuals get on our bus and pick up children and adults from the community that would not otherwise be able to attend church and bring them to Graceway. If you love working with kids and getting out into the community, we hope you will consider getting involved in our bus ministry.
Vocalists & Instrumentalists
Those with musical gifts and talents help lead our congregation in worship. Interested individuals will meet with our Music Director, Mr. Tommy Alvis, to explore their skill level and where they would best fit in our choir or orchestra.
Our sound board technicians and video/computer technicians facilitate all that happens in worship on Sunday morning. Training is offered on the hardware and software required to operate the sound and video equipment and all other aspects involved.
