We believe the greatest steps you can take are spiritual ones. Check out the steps below!
He is the sum of all things, He is the most important part of your journey.
Jesus said He was God. He proved it by His life, His words, His actions, and His love.
Ephesians 2:4-5, “But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)”
John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Our sin separates us from God and requires the payment of death (Romans 3:23, 6:23). Yet, because Jesus died for you, you don’t have to pay for your own sins!
1 Corinthians 15:3-4, “Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day…”
Romans 5:8, “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Here’s how Jesus said it:
John 3:36, “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life…”
John 11:25, “I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live.”
Going to Heaven isn’t about being good or religious. It’s about trusting Jesus. Call out to Him, ask Him to come into your life, save you from sin, and give you His gift of eternal life. It’s the best decision you will ever make.
Romans 10:13, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
Did you understand what you read above? If not, that is okay. Want to talk to someone about it? We can help answer your questions and talk more about Jesus before making this first, very important decision. Contact us.
Baptism is the outward expression of your inward decision to follow Christ.
Water baptism is an outward expression of an inward decision to follow Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord of your life. Not only does the Bible command us to be baptized, but Jesus Himself was water baptized by immersion. It is the first step of obedience after meeting Jesus personally.
Acts 2:41, “Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.”
Matthew 3:16, “And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water.”

Have questions? Want to schedule a time for you to be baptized? You can contact us to let our team know how to reach out to you about this great next step!
The Christian life is one of strong, deep roots and healthy fruits.
Discipleship is about growth. It speaks to the twelve disciples who followed after, learned from, and loved unconditionally Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord. The Christian life is a marathon, a long journey; and along the way there will be questions, milestones where you need to get to the next level as you pursue Jesus.
Discipleship is about learning and walking after Jesus. It’s also about following in the footsteps of those following Jesus too. We would love for you to partner with the right person so that you can maximize your spiritual growth. Contact us to get involved.
We are most happy when we are focused on serving God together.
When you serve at Graceway, you’re doing much more than filling a role: you’re becoming more a part of our community and extending ministry and hospitality to others.
Attend a Starting Point Class.
Starting Point is a class where you will learn more about Graceway’s history, values, core beliefs and practices. In addition to that, you will have an opportunity to make connections with fellow believers who share your passion for following Christ. Each class meets for two 1/hr sessions on Wednesday evenings.
