Graceway Baptist Church began in 2004 with a vision to build a community where people could experience the love of Christ, grow in faith, and live with purpose.

From our charter service in September 2004 to our continued ministry in Matthews, Weddington, and the greater South Charlotte area, we’ve seen God bless our church in incredible ways. Though we’ve grown, we’ve never lost the sweet spirit and unity that defined us from the beginning.

We are a local, independent Baptist church that believes in the literal truth of God’s Word and the power of the gospel to transform lives. Graceway is a place where real people, facing real life, find real hope in Jesus.
